ABSTRAK
DIAN RASI SURYASI (A1C2 11 050) “Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa yang
diajar Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Materi
Sistem Ekskresi Kelas VIII6 SMP Negeri 4 Kendari”. Penelitian ini bertujuan
meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII6 SMP Negeri 4 Kendari pada Materi
Sistem Ekskresi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based
Learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran
2015/2016, di SMP Negeri 4 Kendari pada siswa kelas VIII6 berjumlah 38 siswa
yang terdiri atas 23 orang perempuan dan 15 orang laki-laki. Faktor yang diamati
adalah hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, meliputi:
a) Perencanaan (Planing); b) Pelaksanaan (Action); c) Observasi dan Evaluasi
(Observation and Evaluation); d) Refleksi (Reflection). Data yang diperoleh
dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I
dengan persentase tuntas 39,47%. Aktivitas guru pada siklus I mencapai 75,00%
dan termasuk kategori baik, sedangkan aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai
72,22% dan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Selanjutnya pada siklus II dengan
persentase tuntas menjadi 60,53%. Aktivitas guru pada siklus II mencapai 88,64%
dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan aktivitas siswa mencapai
79,69% dan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Selanjutnya hasil belajar siswa pada
siklus III dengan persentase tuntas meningkat menjadi 73,68%. Aktivitas guru
pada siklus III mencapai 90,91% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik,
sedangkan aktivitas siswa mencapai 91,32% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat
baik. hasil belajar siswa tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik dan lebih dari 70%
siswa telah mencapai nilai ≥ 75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui
penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan
hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas guru dan siswa.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes VIII6 grade SMP Negeri 4
Kendari to Content Excretion system by using model Problem Based Learning.
The research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year
2015/2016, in SMP Negeri 4 Kendari grade students VIII6 totaled 38 students
consisting of 23 women and 15 men. Factors observed are student learning
outcomes. This research was conducted in three cycles, including: a) Planning

(Observation and Evaluation); d) Reflection (Reflection). Data were analyzed
using descriptive statistics. The results of students in the first cycle with a
percentage of 39.47% complete. Activities teachers in the first cycle reaches
75.00% and categorized as good, while the activity of students in the first cycle
reaches 72.22% and included in both categories. Later in the second cycle to be
60.53% completion percentage. Activities teachers in cycle II reached 88.64% and
included in the excellent category, while the activity of students reached 79.69%
and included in both categories. Furthermore, the results of student learning in the
third cycle with the percentage of completion increased to 73.68%. Teacher
activity in the third cycle reached 90.91% and included in the excellent category,
while the activity of students reached 91.32% and included in the excellent
category. learning outcomes of students classified in the category very good and
more than 70% of students have reached a value of ≥ 75. The results showed that
through the implementation of Problem Based Learning learning model can
improve student learning outcomes and the activities of teachers and students.
