INTISARI
Analisis kelayakan atas penilaian usulan investasi armada angkutan truk
PT. Charoen Pokphand di Sidoarjo ini bertujuan untuk membantu manajemen
dalam menilai usulan investasi yang akan dilaksanakan ditinjau dari segi
keuangan sehingga dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat dan untuk mengetahui
investasi aktiva tetap pada PT. Charoen Pokphand di Sidoarjo layak dilaksanakan
atau tidak
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi
kasus. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada PT. Charoen Pokphand di Sidoarjo
menunjukkan hasil bahwa dengan menggunakan metode capital budgeting dapat
diketahui rencana investasi tersebut layak untuk dilaksanakan.
Untuk perhitungan digunakan lima metode capital budgeting sebagai
berikut: Metode ARR (Average Rate of Return) menunjukkan bahwa tingkat
keuntungan rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 21,56%. Metode Payback Period
menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang diperlukan untuk menutup investasi sebesar Rp
900.000.000 adalah 2 tahun 29 hari. Metode NPV (Net Present Value) didapat
nilai yang positif sebesar Rp 332.418.427. Dari Metode PI (Profitabilitas Indeks)
menunjukkan hasil yang diperoleh lebih besar dari 1 yaitu sebesar 1,37.
Sedangkan metode IRR (Internal Rate of Return) diperoleh tingkat bunga sebesar
28,80%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengembalian yang diperoleh lebih
besar dari tingkat suku bunga yang ditentukan yaitu 12,5%. Dari perhitungan lima
metode tersebut dapat ditunjukkan juga bahwa rencana usulan investasi armada
angkutan truk PT. Charoen Pokphand di Sidoarjo dapat diterima dan layak
dilaksanakan.

ABSTRACT
The feasibility analysis on the assessment of investment proposal of
trucking fleet of PT Charoen Pokphand in Sidoarjo is meant to assist the
management in assessing investment proposal that will be carried out is reviewed
from the financial aspect so the right decision can be taken and to find out fixed
assets investment on PT Charoen Pokphand in Sidoarjo is feasible to be carried
out or not.
This research is a descriptive with case study approach. The research that
has been carried out on PT Charoen Pokphand in Sidoarjo shows that whether the
investment plan is feasible or not to be carried out, it can be known by using
capital budgeting method.
Five capital budgeting methods are used for the calculation i.e.: the ARR
(Average Rate of Return) method shows that the average rate of return that has
been obtained is 21.56%; The Payback Period method shows the time that is
required to recoup the Rp 900,000,000 investment is 2 years 29 days; The NPV
(Net Present Value) has been obtained positive value that is Rp 332,418,427; the
PI (Profitability Index) method shows that the result that has been obtained is
larger than 1 i.e.: 1.37 whereas the IRR (Internal Rate of Return) method has
obtained interest rate 28.80%. This result shows that the rate of return that has
been obtained is larger than the interest rate that has been determined i.e. 12.5%.
It can be shown from the result of calculation of these five methods that the
investment proposal of trucking fleet of PT Charoen Pokphand in Sidoarjo is
feasible and it can be carried out.
