Present FIRST CONDITIONAL TENSE : If Clause = Present Tense Main Clause = Future Tense If he gives me the invitation, I will come to the party Present tense Future tense It is very possible that I will come to his party if he gives me an invitation,. The condition is quite likely to be fulfilled. If + Subject + Verb-1 + Object ; Subject + will + Verb- 1 + Object SECOND CONDITIONAL TENSE : If Clause : Past Tense Main Clause : Past Future If I knew where sinta lived, I would go and see her Second conditional is use to speak about present and future situations which are unlikely to happen.
