 => Conditional sentences is a sentence that
describes a presupposition where something might
happen or just might not happen.
 Conditional sentences consist of main clause and
if clause.
For example :
If i have a lot of money, i shall go to Yogyakarta.
If i have a lot of money , i shall go to Yogyakarta
If clause
Main clause
There are 3 type of conditional sentences :
 Conditional Sentences Type 1 = Present Conditional
 Conditional Sentences Type 2 = Unreal Conditional
 Conditional Sentences Type 3 = Impossible Conditional
 Conditional sentences Type 1 is the high possible
happening in the future or present conditional.
Tense :
If + Simple Present , Present Future (will)
or
Present Future (will), If + Simple Present
 For example :
a.
If i win the lottery, i will take you to Bali.
If
i win the lottery,
i will take you to Bali.
If + Simple Present, Present Future (will)
Mean : the person who said it entered the draw, but
did not know whether he won or not. And if he
succeeds in winning it, then he will invite his friend
for an excursion. That is, there is a possibility of
winning lose in this case, and he hopes to win.
b.
If you tell her the truth, she will forgive you.
If you tell her the truth, she will forgive you.
If + Simple Present,
Present Future (will)
Means : There is still a possibility if the person
being spoken to is willing to tell the truth to
someone else, then there is still a possibility that
the other person will understand and forgive.
