Argument TS: I agree that born in new age era is easier and more enjoyable than my grandparent’s era because the technology of Internet, Transportation, and communication TS1: Internet - Source Of Information - Social Media - Trading Business CP: So Internet make today's life is easier TS2: Transportation - Land - Water - Air CP: So, if people want to go somewhere faraway, now the technology of transportation makes life easier and more enjoyable than it was. TS3 Communication Technology - Mobile Phone - Email - Instant Messenger CP: So, the development of communication technology makes today’s life easier and enjoyable CS: Overall, the technology of Internet, Transportation, and communication, make today's life becoming easier and more enjoyable. Paragraph Many people discuss and compare between life today and life in the past. Some people agree that today's life is easier and more enjoyable than life in era when our grandparents were children, but some others feel the opposite. For me (Thesis Statement/TS) I agree that born in new age era is easier and more enjoyable than my grandparent’s era because the technology of Internet, Transportation, and communication. (TS1) Today's life becomes easier and enjoyable because the existences of Internet as source of Information, social media, trading business. (SD1/Reason1 (+)) Internet is the most useful thing to gather information. (Explanation) Through Internet, you can access information that you needed. (Example) Like search for cooking recipe, medical information, movie review, and everything. On the Contrary, in the past you can only obtain useful information only from newspaper or ask the expert straightly. (SD2/Reason2 (+)) Internet can also be used as Social Media. (Explanation) With social media you can follow your friends activities, look you friends photos and find an old friend who haven't met for a long time. (Example) For example, social media like twitter that allows you to follow your favorite artists activities. You can know what your favorite artists do, where your favorite artists are, and everything about them. But, when my grandparents were child, u can't follow someone activity unless you follow them physically. (SD3/Reason3 (+)) Nowadays, Internet is also useful for trading business. (Explanation) With Internet, you can buy and sell every thing online. Dealing things on the Internet, make customer not have to meet the seller physically. (Example) Now, there are lot of trading business blogs such as ebay, amazon, kaskus, blibli.com and etc. But in the past, if you want to make a deal, you have to meet the customer or the client physically. Those are reasons why I agree that Internet make today’s life easier and more enjoyable. (TS2) Life nowadays becomes easy and enjoyable because the development of transport technology on land, water, and air. (SD1/Reason1 (+)) Many land transportation has been improved from this past year. (Explanation) It makes people easy and comfy to go other places. (Example) beside by using their own private car, a lot of Jakarta residences go to work by Transjakarta, Public Bus, and Taxi. On the contrary, when my grandma was child, it was such a difficult thing to find land vehicle. Although there are some of it, but it was still hasn't comfy enough. (SD2/Reason2 (+)) Beside land transportation, Water transportation also has been improved these past years. (Explanation) That modern water vehicle helps people to move between island and archipelagos. (Example) Many of them also use ship, to bring cargo for business interest. Some others may ride star cruise for their family recreation and entertainment. On the contrary, when my grandma was child people could cross the sea only by traditional boat. But because traditional boat was made by plain wood, so it will risky our lives. (SD3/Reason3 (+)) The most important part of transportation that gives big influences is air vehicle. (Explanation) Air vehicles nowadays, so much help people to transfer overseas faster than land or air transportation. (Example) Nowadays air vehicle like airplane is so much efficient, for example like Boeing 777 Aircraft, which can fit over than 200 people per fly. On other hand, when my grandma still kid, only small aircraft that exist (TS3) Communication technologies such as Mobile phone, email and quick messenger are the one those bring big influence in today's easy and enjoyable life. (SD1/Reason1 (+)) Nowadays mobile phones are much more sophisticated than it was. (Explanation) Mobile phone is handy and simple. (Example) Like Samsung and Iphone Mobile, which are very smart, but have thin and small body. On the contrary, in the past, phone can only stay at one place. (SD2/Reason2 (+)) beside mobile phone, on today's life people also use an electronic mail (e-mail). (Explanation) E-mail exists to substitute the letter mail. With email, people needn't go to post office nor buy a postage stamp. (Example) Most of all big companies, choose their new employee by read the curriculum vitae that sent by the candidate worker by using their email, so they do not need to keep many file of candidate workers that have no potential, like in the past. (SD3/Reason3 (+)) Today's life becomes so much easy and enjoyable because of instant messenger. (Explanation) Instant messenger is the fastest way to send or distribute message to others. Nowadays, A lot of people use this application for business need, family need and etc. (Example) To reduce a sense of longing, a lot of family chat with their siblings or family members that stay so far away. With instant messenger application, distance would be meaningless. So different when it was my grandparent era, it was extremely hard to keep in contact with someone who lived far away. (CP) That's way nowadays communication technology give influence to make life easier and more enjoyable. (CS) Overall, the technology of Internet, Transportation, and communication make today's life becoming easier and more enjoyable. I am so grateful that I was born in new age era as a successor from Y generation. I hope the development of global technology, make world become better and better than it was.
