Interpretations of Regulation
• It is the DGCA duty and responsibility to ensure safety in all
civil aviation matters. This carried out by prescribing and
revising from certain minimum safety standards are generally
issued in the form of civil aviation safety regulation (CASR)
• CASR are prescribing as minimum standards, are often written
in a broad and general sense to give the aviation community
latitude (luas) to develop higher safety standards in their own
product and or operation.
• The DGCA retains full right, authority and legal obligation to
interprete the case.
