Jenis penelitian ini yaitu explanatory, yaitu: merupakan penelitian pengujian
hipotesa atau penelitian penjelasan yang menyoroti pengaruh antara variabel
keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang merupakan variabel independent dengan
variabel dependntnya yaitu prestasi kerja karyawan, dimana peneliti melakukan
observasi dalam pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada Perusahaan Industri Kulit
“Surya” Magetan yang beralamat di Jalan Diponegoro No. 5 Magetan dengan judul
penelitian yaitu: “ Pengaruh Program Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja Karyawan
Terhadap Prestasi Karyawan Pada Perusahaan Industri Kulit “Surya” Magetan”.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui program keselamatan dan
kesehatan kerja karyawan serta prestasi kerja karyawan bagian produksi pada
Perusahaan Industri Kulit “Surya” Magetan. Untuk mengetahui program keselamatan
dan kesehatan kerja karyawan secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan
terhadap prestasi karyawan dan mengetahui program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja
karyawan, manakah yang berpengaruh kuat terhadap prestasi karyawan pada
Perusahaan Industri Kulit “Surya” Magetan. Adapun kegunaan penelitian yang ingin
dicapai khususnya bagi perusahaan dapat digunakan sebagai masukan perusahaan
dalam rangka pelaksanaan program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan
sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan.
Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan
rentang skala dan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan rata-rata
rentang skala diperoleh angka sebesar 312,5 yang berarti bahwa program keselamatan
kerja para karyawan bagian produksi khususnya bagian pemotongan pada Perusahaan
Industri Kulit “Surya” Magetan dirasakan baik oleh karyawan. Hasil perhitungan
rata-rata rentang skala diperoleh angka sebesar 304,25, hasil tersebut berarti bahwa
variabel program kesehatan kerja para karyawan bagian produksi khususnya bagian
pemotongan pada Perusahaan Industri Kulit “Surya” Magetan adalah baik. Hasil
analisis regresi linier berganda yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan variabel program
keselamatan kerja (X1) dan program kesehatan kerja (X2) baik secara simultan
maupun secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi para
karyawan bagian produksi khususnya bagian pemotongan pada Perusahaan Industri
Kulit “Surya” Magetan.
Beberapa saran yang diberikan kepada perusahaan yaitu diharapkan pihak
perusahaan selalu memberikan pengarahan kepada karyawan terutama dalam
penggunaan peralatan yang dianggap dapat membahayakan tingkat keselamatan dan
kesehatan para karyawan. Diharapkan perusahaan untuk menempatkan mesin-mesin
produksi yang berbahaya sesuai dengan prosedur kerja yang benar sehingga dapat
memberikan jaminan atas keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja bagi karyawan.
Diharapkan perusahaan selalu memperhatikan atas kualitas peralatan jaminan
kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja sehingga benar-benar dapat memberikan jaminan
atas keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja para karyawan.

This research is explanatory, namely: a study testing

Achievement Against Employees In The Leather Industry "Surya" Magetan ".
The purpose of this study was to determine the safety program and
employee health and work performance of employees in production department
Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan. To find out the safety program
employee health and simultaneously have a significant influence
the achievement of students and employees know the safety and occupational health program
employees, where a strong influence on employee performance
Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan. The usefulness of research to
achieved especially for the company to be used as input companies
within the framework of the implementation of safety programs and employee health
so as to improve employee performance.
The analytical tool used in this study by using
scale ranges and multiple linear regression. Based on the calculation of average
scale ranges obtained figure of 312.5, which means that the safety program
employees work part production, especially the cuts in the Company
Leather Industry "Surya" Magetan felt both by the employee. Result of calculation
average figures obtained by the scale range of 304.25, these results mean that
variable work of the employee health programs, especially the part production
cuts on Leather Industry Company "Surya" Magetan is good. Results
multiple linear regression analysis have shown variable program
safety (X1) and occupational health program (X2), both simultaneously
and partially to have a significant impact on the achievement
employees of the production, especially the cuts in industrial companies
Skin "Surya" Magetan.
Some suggestions are given to companies which are expected to party
the company always provide guidance to employees, especially in
use of equipment that is considered to endanger the safety level and
health of employees. It is expected the company to place the machines
hazardous production in accordance with the correct working procedures so as to
guarantee the safety and health for employees.
It is expected that the company always pay attention to the quality assurance equipment
health and safety that can truly guarantee
on occupational safety and health of employees.
