Today i will tell you guys about Port occupational
safety and health.
As we know there are so many risk and hazard that
may injure us if we dont aware about it while
working in the Port area such as Engine Failure,
Noise, Fire, Fall, and Lifting
This time, i will tell you about every risk and hazard
in the port area and off course i will tell you about
port occupational safety and health rules that will
keep you safe and health during the work.
1. First, all the workers must wear personal
protective equipment such as safety helmet, safety
vest and safety boot.
As we know, sometimes the workers neglect
the safety rules with not using Personal protective
equipment (PPE) while working. So when some
hazard hit them, it’s automatically injure them and
the worst it may caused death.
2. The operation of the machine must be used by
someone who is competent and has a SIM card.
I think it’s clear for us that someone who
dont have any license for operating machine such as
crane is prohibited to operate the machine. Because
it may get uncontrolable and may cause big
accident.
3.The maximum operating speed of the machine is
30 km / hour
It’s not allowed for us to operating machine
such as crane in high speed because it’s probably
gets harder to control it then it may cause accident.
4. Pay attention to the position of the pedestrians
when you operate the crane
There are a lot of workers in the port area, so
when you operate the crane be aware and make sure
that the way of the crane move is clear from the
people or pedestrians.
5. Turn off your cellphones
When you operate the machine such as
crane, it is prohibited to use your cellphone or play
music while driving the crane because it may
distract your focus and you can lose control of the
crane.
6. Always wear your safety belt
It is very important for always wear your
safety belt while you driving the crane because if
something terrible happen or the machine crashes it
will help you to keep you safe.

So the conclusion that we can take is always use your
personal protective equipment and always obey
every occupational safety and health rules. Because
if you’re not someone will hurt it can be you or
someone else. So keep your safety and health first.
