INTISARI
Peristilahan dalam Sistem Operasi Windows 7 Berbahasa Arab:
Analisis Gramatikal dan Semantik
Hadirnya berbagai macam teknologi di kalangan masyarakat Arab telah
mempengaruhi pembentukan istilah baru di dalam bahasa Arab yang merujuk pada
sebuah teknologi. Jika teknologi berpengaruh terhadap bahasa Arab, maka sebaliknya
bahasa Arab juga bisa berpengaruh terhadap teknologi. Pengaruh bahasa Arab terhadap
teknologi ini tampak pada kebutuhan produsen teknologi untuk menyertakan istilah
teknologi dalam bahasa Arab ketika produk teknologi tersebut dipasarkan di kalangan
bangsa Arab sehingga produk tersebut dapat diterima oleh bangsa Arab, seperti sistem
operasi windows 7. Hadirnya teknologi baru termasuk komputer di kalangan
masyarakat Arab menyisakan masalah, karena komputer adalah produk dari Barat dan
dirancang dengan bahasa Inggris sehingga program, prosedur pengoperasian, dan
bahasa user interface menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Sementara masyarakat Arab
menggunakan bahasa Arab yang memiliki perbedaan khususnya dari sisi karakter huruf,
sisi pengucapan, dan struktur. Pada penelitian ini membahas proses pembentukan istilah
dalam sistem operasi windows 7 berbahasa Arab. Mengingat objek material penelitian
ini merupakan teks berbahasa Arab sehingga teori yang digunakan adalah teori
linguistik Arab, dalam hal ini adalah ilmu morfologi dan ilmu sintaksis Arab. Selain itu,
teori semantik, semantik leksikal dan semantik gramatikal, digunakan untuk membahas
makna. Dalam menu-menu dalam sistem operasi windows 7 berbahasa Arab,
pembentukan istilah yang terjadi sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah pembentukan istilah
dalam bahasa Arab, yaitu kaidah s}arf dan nah}wu. Akan tetapi, pembentukan istilah
tersebut juga dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan masyarakat Arab yang lebih cenderung
memperhatikan pada aspek spesifikasi atau karakteristik sesuatu yang akan
diterjemahkan atau diberi nama, atau aspek cara kerjanya yang utama, atau aspek fungsi
dari pada aspek fenomena atau bentuk luarnya.

The Terminology of Arabic Windows 7 Operating System:
A Grammatical and Semantic Analysis
The various technologies presence of in the Arab society has influenced the new
