Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi penggunaan bahasa yang mengacu pada fungsi primernya.
Sebagai wahana komunikasi fungsi primer bahasa adalah sebagai alat untuk mengungkapkan tiga
gejala jiwa yaitu cipta, rasa dan karsa. Fungsi bahasa sebagai penyampai pesan, ekspresi, batin,
pikiran dari komunikasi dapat dilihat pada lirik lagu.
Lagu diartikan sebagai bentuk puisi yang didendangkan. Wujud paparan bahasa dalam syair lagu
berupa susunan kata-kata yang dipilih dan disusun untuk menimbulkan efek keindahan sehingga
lagu tersebut menjadi menarik. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade. Untuk itu
dilakukan analisis syair untuk memahami maknanya. Untuk menganalisis sebuah sajak atau puisi,
diperlukan analisis. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis syair lagu berdasarkan analisis
struktural. Analisis struktural adalah analisis yang melihat bahwa unsur-unsur struktur sajak itu
saling berhubungan, saling menentukan artinya.
Tujuan penelitian adalah: a) mendeskripsikan diksi dalam syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade album
“Bahasa Langit”, b) mendeskripsikan majas dalam syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade album “Bahasa
Langit”, c) mendeskripsikan tema, nada, perasaan, dan amanat dalam syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade
album “Bahasa Langit”. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu syair lagu yang berupa teks lagu yang tersusun atas kata,
frase atau kalimat yang di dalamnya terkandung satuan makna, tersusun dalam bait-bait atau
baris-baris kalimat. Sumber data penelitian dari syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade album “Bahasa Langit”.
Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: a) secara struktur fisik, puisi Ebiet G. Ade
menggunakan diksi yang berupa diksi konotatif, diksi konkret, diksi asosiasi, diksi antropomorfis,
dan diksi imajinatif. Untuk mempertahankan unsur kepuitisan, Ebiet G. Ade menggunakan
bahasa kiasan atau majas. Majas yang digunakan dalam syair lagu Ebiet G. Ade meliputi:
persaman/simile, personifikasi, sinekdoke, dan metonimia. b) secara struktur batin meliputi tema,
nada, perasaan, dan amanat. Dalam album “Bahasa Langit”,Ebiet G. Ade mengangkat tema
keTuhanan, kemanusiaan, lingkungan sosial, percintaan dan kasih sayang. Nada yang
diungkapkan penyair yaitu nada sedih, resah, kecewa, duka, iba, prihatin terhadap keadaan sosial
di sekitarnya. Perasaan hati penyair yang muncul yaitu sedih, resah. Rasa rindu terhadap Tuhan,
rasa hormat kepada orangtua dan wanita, rasa ikhlas atas karunia Tuhan kepada hambanNya.
Amanat yang disampaikan penyair agar manusia harus selalu berfikir tentang kehidupan.
Manusia harus dapat menerima dengan ikhlas atas pemberian Tuhan.
Abstract
This research is based the use of language that refers to its primary function. As a vehicle for the primary
function of language is communication as a tool to reveal the three symptoms of the soul that is
copyrighted, feeling and intention. The function of language as a messenger, expression, thought,
thoughts of communication can be seen in the lyrics of songs.
Song interpreted as a form of sung poetry. Data on exposure to the language in song lyric form of the
order of words chosen and arranged for effect so that the beauty of the piece becomes interesting. This
can be seen in the song lyric Ebiet G. Ade. For that poem analysis to understand its meaning. To analyze
a poem or poems, required analysis. In this research, song lyric analysis based on structural analysis.
Structural analysis is the analysis to see that the elements of rhyme structure are interrelated, mutually
determine its meaning.
The purpose of the study are: a) describe the diction in a song lyric Ebiet G. Ade album "Sky Language", b)
describe the figure of speech in song lyric Ebiet G. Ade album "Sky Language", c) describe the theme,
tone, feeling, and the mandate of the song lyric Ebiet G. Ade album "Sky Language". The method of
qualitative research is descriptive method. Data used in this study is that a song lyric song text
composed of words, phrases or sentences therein contained unit of meaning, composed of verses or
lines. Data source of lyrics to songs Ebiet G. Ade album "Sky Language".
Research results revealed that: a) a physical structure, poetry Ebiet G. Ade uses a form of diction
connotative diction, concrete diction, diction association, diction anthropomorphic, and imaginative
diction. To maintain the element of kepuitisan, Ebiet G. Ade using figurative language or figure of speech.
Figure of speech used in the song lyric Ebiet G. Ade include: equation / simile, personification, sinekdoke,
and metonimia. b) the inner structure includes themes, tones, feelings, and mandate. In the album "Sky
Language", Ebiet G. Ade the theme of deity, humanity, social environment, love and affection. Tone
poet expressed the tone of sad, upset, disappointment, grief, compassion, concerned about the social
circumstances surrounding it. Mood emerging poet is sad, restless. A sense of longing for God, respect
to parents and female, feel sincerely for the gift of God to hambanNya. The mandate given to the
human poet must always think about life. Humans must be able to receive with sincerity of the
resources God.
