ABSTRAK
Imunisasi dasar lengkap adalah pemberian lima vaksin imunisasi sesuai
jadwal yang telah ditentukan untuk bayi di bawah satu tahun. Pentingnya imunisasi
untuk bayi yang mendapat imunisasi dasar lengkap akan terlindung dari beberapa
penyakit berbahaya dan akan mencegah penularan.
Jenis penelitian adalah survey explanatory yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap kelengkapan pemberian imunisasi dasar. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai balita usia 1-2 tahun yang
masih bersuami di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai Kota Medan yang berjumlah
852 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Simple Random Sampling dan
diperoleh sampel sebanyak 180 orang. Beberapa variabel yang diduga mempengaruhi
dianalisis dengan uji statistik chi-square dan regresi logistik pada taraf kepercayaan
95% (p<0,05).
Hasil penelitian kelengkapan pemberian imunisasi dari 180 responden
terdapat 97 orang (53,9%) memberikan imunisasi lengkap kepada bayinya, variabel
yang berpengaruh (p<0,05) adalah dukungan informasional, dukungan penghargaan
dan dukungan emosi. Variabel dukungan emosi merupakan variabel yang paling
dominan dengan nilai β 3,200.
Kesimpulan bahwa Dukungan sosial (dukungan informasional, dukungan
penghargaan dan dukungan emosi) berpengaruh terhadap kelengkapan pemberian
imunisasi dasar di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukaramai Kota Medan Tahun 2013
sedangkan dukungan instrumental dan dukungan integrasi sosial tidak berpengaruh.
Disarankan Puskesmas sebaiknya menginformasikan kepada suami atau anggota
keluarga untuk melengkapi informasi tentang imunisasi dasar lengkap agar informasi
yang diperoleh dari suami atau anggota keluarga efektif, Puskesmas sebaiknya
memberikan motivasi kepada suami dan anggota keluarga agar memberikan
dukungan penghargaan dan dukungan emosi kepada ibu sehingga ibu membawa
anaknya untuk diimunisasi dasar lengkap.

ABSTRACT
The Complete basic immunization is in the form of administration of five
immunization vaccines according to the schedule made for the baby less than one
year old. It is important for the babies immunization because they can be protected
from several dangerous diseases and prevented of being transmitted.
The purpose of this explanatory survey aimed at determining the influence of
social support on the completeness of basic immunization administrative.
The population in this study was all of 852 married mothers with children of
1-2 years of age in the working area of Puskesmas Sukaramai Medan, and 180 of
them were selected to be the samples for this study through simple random sampling
technique. Several variables thought to have influence were statistically analyzed by
Chi-square test and logistic regression at confidence level of 95% (p <0.05).
The results of this study showed that 97 people (53.9%) gave their babies
complete immunization and the remaining 83 people (46.1%) gave incomplete
immunization to their babies, the influential variables (p <0.05) were informational,
award and emotional supports. Emotional support was the most dominant variable
with β value of 1.163.
The Conclusion is that social support (informational, emotional and award
support) had influence on the completeness of basic immunization in the working
area of Puskesmas Sukaramai Medan in 2013 while instrumental and social
integration support has no effect. It is recommended that the Puskesmas inform
patients’ husbands or family members to complete a fully basic immunization
information so that the information obtained from them become effective, the
Puskesmas should motivate the patients’ husband and family members to provide
award and emotional support to the mother so that the mothers took their children to
have complete basic immunization. Support award given is that the husband responds
and praises their wives when they brought the child to have basic complete
immunization. The motivation given by husbands or family members was to
encourage, and to give special attention and care when the mother brought the baby
to have a complete basic immunization.
