First Announcement ANNUAL TROPICAL DISEASES MEETING (ATDM) 2017 TROPICAL INFECTIOUS DISEASES : FROM EVIDENCE BASED AND PERSONALIZED MEDICINE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Sabtu – Minggu / 21-22 Oktober 2017 Hotel Le-Meridian Jakarta Sekapur Sirih Salam sejahtera, Sebagai negara tropis, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan insidensi penyakit tropik terbesar di dunia. Seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu di bidang penyakit tropik yang sangat pesat, para dokter di Indonesia dituntut untuk mampu secara mumpuni melakukan diagnosis dan tatalaksana yang paripurna untuk penyakit-penyakit tropik. Prinsip-prinsip dasar dan berbagai kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang penyakit tropik haruslah dipahami secara baik dan benar. Divisi Penyakit Tropik dan Infeksi, Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam, FKUI, bekerja sama dengan Perhimpunan Konsultan Penyakit Tropik dan Infeksi Indonesia (PETRI) Cabang Jakarta (PETRI JAYA) mengundang sejawat pada acara Annual Tropical Diseases Meeting 2017 bertema “Tropical Infectious Diseases : From Evidence Based and Personalized Medicine to Clinical Practice“ dengan harapan dapat berbagi berbagai perkembangan mutakhir dan pengalaman dari para ahli dalam diagnosis dan tatalaksana penyakit tropik dalam praktek klinis sehari-hari. Berbagai ilustrasi kasus menarik akan kami sajikan di akhir acara, dengan pembahasan bersama para klinisi ahli di bidang penyakit tropik dan infeksi.
