Pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah sebagian dari perkembangan kesejahteraan
masyarakat yang diukur dengan besamya pertumbuhan domestik regional bruto
perkapita (PDRB perkapita). T ingginya tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang
ditunjukkan dengan tingginya nilai PDRB menunjukkan bahwa daerah tersebut
mengalami kemajuan dalam perekonomian. Sumber daya alam merupakan salah
satu faktor pendorong perturnbuhan daerah, selain pola investasi dan
perkembangan prasarana transportasi.
Pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah Asahan dapat d icerm inkan dari perubahan PDRB
dalam wilayah Kabupaten Asahan. Tumbuhnya iklim investasi yang sehat dan
kom petitif diharapkan akan memacu perkembangan investasi yang saling
m enguntungkan dalam pembangunan daerah. Pendapatan daerah yang
dipergunakan untuk berbagai pengeluaran pembangunan bersama dengan
investasi dan tenaga kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi
di Kabupaten Asahan. Apabila nilai dari masing-masing variabel meningkat maka
peningkatan juga terjadi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam hal ini adalah PDRB.
A pabila terjadi penurunan dari variabel-variabel tersebut penuru nan juga terjadi
terhadap PDRB.
Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat
investasi, pengeluaran pembiayaan pembangunan dan tenaga kerja terhadap
pertumbuhan ekonomi, sekaligus untuk mengukur besarnya elastisitas variabelvariabel tersebut di Kabupaten Asahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini adalah analisis regresi dengan pendekatan model regresi OLS (ordinary least
squares). Variabel yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten Asahan
adalah, investasi swasta ( I ), belanja pemerintah (G) dan Tenaga kerja yang
bekerja (L), dengan pengujian secara ekonometrika menggunakan Shazam .
Hasil Estimasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PDRB Kabupaten Asahan
signifikan dipengaruhi secara bersama-sama oleh variabel Jnvestasi Swasta (I),
Belanja Pemerintah (G) dan Tenaga Kerja (L). Sedangkan analisis secara parsial
menunjukkan bahwa Investasi dan tenaga kerja dan belanja pemerintah signifikan
mempengaruhi PDRB Kabupaten Asahan.

Economic growth is part of the development of public welfare as measured by the
amount of per capita gross regional domestic growth (GDP per capita). High rates
of economic growth as indicated by the high value of GDP indicate that the area is
experiencing progress in the economy. Natural resources is one of the drivers of
regiona l growth, in addition to patterns of investment and development of
transportation infrastructure.
Asahan regional economic growth can be reflected from the change in the region
A sahan GDP. The growth of a healthy investm ent climate and competitive
expected to spur the development of mutually benefic ial investment in regional
development. regional income that is used for a variety of development
expenditure, together with investment and employment have an influence on
economic growth in the Asahan District. If the value of each variable increases,
the increase also occurs in economic growth in this case is the GOP. If there is a
decrease of these variables decline also occurred agai:6st the GOP.
T he purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the level of investment,
financing expenses and workforce development to economic growth, as well as to
measure the elasticity of these variables in the Asahan District. The method used
in this research is the approach of regression analysis with an OLS regression
model (ordinary least squares). The variables that affect economic growth of
Asahan is, private investment (I), government Expenditure (G) and labor (L), by
using the Shazam econometric testing.
Estimation Results of this study indicate that the
Regency significantly
influenced jointly by the variable Private Investment (1), Government
Expenditures (G) and Labor (L). While the analysis shows that partial
employment and investment and government expenditure significantly affect the
Asahan Regency.
