RINGKASAN
SYAFUDIN ZHUHDI, NIM G2B215004, HUBUNGAN ASUPAN SUMBER
BAHAN MAKANAN VITAMIN C, VITAMIN A, MAGNESIUM, DAN ZINC
DENGAN KADAR GULA DARAH PUASA PADA PENDERITA DIABETES
MELLITUS TIPE II PESERTA PROLANIS BINA SEHAT DI PUSKESMAS
PRINGSURAT KABUPATEN TEMANGGUNG, Pembimbing I : Sufiati

Pendahuluan : Diabetes Mellitus merupakan kumpulan gejala yang timbul pada
seseorang akibat tubuh mengalami gangguan dalam mengontrol kadar gula darah.
Perubahan pola konsumsi makanan beraneka ragam yang banyak mengandung
vitamin dan mineral pada penderita diabetes mellitus dapat berdampak pada tinggi
rendahnya kadar gula darah puasa seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui hubungan asupan sumber bahan makanan vitamin C, vitamin A,
Magnesium, dan Zinc dengan kadar gula darah puasa pada penderita diabetes
mellitus tipe II peserta prolanis bina sehat di puskesmas pringsurat kabupaten
temanggung.
Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian explanatory research dengan
rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Secara deskriptif melihat sehari-hari, asupan
sumber bahan makanan vitamin C, vitamin A, magnesium dan zinc. Jumlah
sampel 22 orang, yang diambil dari seluruh populasi yang memenuhi kriteria
inklusi. Data asupan sumber bahan makanan vitamin C, vitamin A, Magnesium
dan Zinc diperoleh dengan metode formulir food recall 3 kali 24 jam dan nilai
kadar gula darah puasa diperoleh dengan pengamatan langsung pada saat
pemeriksaan rutin cek kadar gula darah, analisis data uji kenormalan dengan uji
kolmogorof smirnov yang kemudian menganalisis hubungan asupan zat gizi
dengan uji pearson dan rank spearman.
Hasil Penelitian : Sesuai hasil statistik uji kenormalan data asupan vitamin C,
magnesium, zinc berdistribusi tidak normal dan vitamin A berdistribusi normal,
hubungan kadar gula darah puasa dengan asupan sumber bahan makanan vitamin
C menunjukan (p-value = 0,546 (p-value > 0,05)), vitamin A (p-value = 0,559 (pvalue > 0,05)), Magnesium (p-value = 0,869 (p-value > 0,05)) dan Zinc (p-value =
0,166 (p-value > 0,05)).
Kesimpulan : Tidak ada hubungan asupan sumber bahan makanan vitamin C,
vitamin A, magnesium dan zinc dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes
mellitus tipe II peserta prolanis bina sehat di puskesmas pringsurat kabupaten
temanggung.

ABSTARCT
The relationship of food source intake of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Magnesium and
Zinc with fasting blood glucose levels for people with diabetes Type II, Prolanis
Bina Sehat participants in the Pringsurat Clinic, Temanggung. Advisor I: Sufiati

Introduction : Diabetes Mellitus is a collection of symptoms that occur in a
person due to the impaired body in controlling blood glucose levels. The changes
in food consumption patterns which consist of vitamins and minerals for people
with diabetes may have an impact on the fasting blood glucose level. This study
investigates the relationship of food sources intake of vitamin C, vitamin A,
Magnesium, and Zinc with fasting blood glucose levels for people with diabetes
mellitus type II, prolanis bina sehat participants in the Pringsurat clinic,
Temanggung.
Methods : The explanatory research was done with cross sectional study design.
The author observed the food sources intake of vitamin C, vitamin A, magnesium
and zinc by daily. Total sample of 22 people were drawn from the entire
population who meet the inclusion criteria. Data of food sources intake of vitamin
C, vitamin A, Magnesium and Zinc was obtained by food recall 3 times a day,
thus, the fasting blood glucose level was captured by direct observation through a
routine examination of blood glucose level. Kolmogorov smirnov who then
analyzed the intake of nutrients by pearson test and rank spearman.
Results : There is no significant correlation between food sources intake of
vitamin C (p-value = 0.546 (p-value> 0.05)), vitamin A (p-value = 0.559 (pvalue> 0.05)), magnesium (p-value = 0.869 (p-value> 0.05)) and Zinc (p-value =
0.166 (p-value> 0.05)) with fasting blood glucose levels.
Conclusion : There is no relationship between food sources intake of vitamin C,
vitamin A, magnesium and zinc with blood glucose levels for people with
diabetes mellitus type II, prolanis bina sehat participants in the Pringsurat clinic,
Temanggung.
