JENIS - JENIS LUMUT DAUN (MUSCI) DI KAWASAN HUTAN TAMAN

ABSTRAK
“Jenis-jenis Lumut Daun (Musci) di Kawasan hutan Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser
Desa Telagah Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara” telah diteliti dengan menggunakan
“Metode Survey” dari bulan Mei sampai November 2011. Ditemukan 50 jenis Musci
yang termasuk kedalam 34 genera dan 19 famili. Famili yang banyak ditemukan yaitu
Dicranaceae dengan delapan jenis diikuti Polytrichaceae dengan lima jenis,
Bryaceae, Hypnaceae dan Sematophyllaceae empat jenis, dan famili lainnya masingmasing dengan tiga jenis, dua jenis, atau satu jenis. Musci umumnya ditemukan
tumbuh pada ketinggian 700-1200 meter di atas permukaan laut di berbagai substrat
diantaranya batu, pohon, kayu lapuk, dan tanah.

AN INVENTORY OF MOSSES IN THE GUNUNG LEUSER NATIONAL
PARK TELAGAH VILLAGE LANGKAT DISTRICT NORTH SUMATERA
ABSTRACT
Species of Musci in Gunung Leuser National Park Telagah Village Langkat Regency
North Sumatra had been studied using Survey Methods from May to November 2011.
There are 50 species of Musci recorded in the study area belonging to 34 genera and
19 families. Dicranaceae is one of the most abundant family found on the study site
with eight species, Polytrichaceae five species, Bryaceae, Hypnaceae and
Sematophyllaceae with four species, and the other families with either three, two or
one species. Musci mostly found in altitude 700-1200 meter above sea level in all
type of substrat (stones, trees, log and soils).
