In es Atulun, oras i(a) talantea nabalbal. Amin.
NOTE:
i[i] teik is applied when more than one person is praying. When only one person is praying, eik is used.
ii[ii] nâko, in some dialects, is replaced with noko.
iii[iii] tabu is sometimes replaced with oras, which has the same meaning.
iv[iv] es is replaced with et in different dialects.
∗ All of the prayers, except Onen oras he tasaitan ume, Hai mîlatan Kit, and Kninô, are adopted
and alphabetically modified to create a phonetic spelling from Katekismus in nesan, the Catholic
catechism widely used in the Dawan-Timor in the old days. It was the catechism I once learned
from for my first communion and Confirmation.
