PURWARUPA SISTEM RUMAH CERDAS BERBASIS ARDUINO
YANG DIKENDALIKAN DENGAN SMARTPHONE ANDROID

Telah dibuat purwarupa pengendali jarak jauh rumah cerdas berbasis arduino
yang dikendalikan dengan smartphone android. Sistem ini membantu pengguna untuk
mengendalikan saklar perangkat listrik dari jarak jauh. Sistem ini dilengkapi tombol
on dan tombol off pada perangkat lunak yang akan ditanamkan pada smartphone
android untuk mengendalikan empat perangkat listrik sehingga pengguna tidak perlu
mendatangi sistem guna mematikan atau menyalakan perangkat listrik.
Sistem ini dibuat dengan menggunakan arduino uno sebagai sistem kendali,
BTshield sebagai media komunikasi bluetooth dan smartphone android sebagai
pengendali jarak jauh. Smartphone android mengirimkan data secara serial melalui
bluetooth ke arduino uno. Data berupa teks yang masuk diproses oleh arduino untuk
mengendalikan rangkaian relay pada purwarupa rumah cerdas. Sistem yang dibuat
mampu mengendalikan empat perangkat listrik purwarupa rumah cerdas.
Hasil uji yang dilakukan, sistem ini dapat dikendalikan dengan satu handheld
android dalam suatu waktu dan sistem ini dapat dikendalikan dengan jarak kendali 13
meter di dalam ruangan dan 15 meter di ruang terbuka.

ABSTRACT
A PROTOTYPE OF A SMART HOME SYSTEM BASED ON THE
ARDUINO UNO AND AN ANDROID SMARTPHONE

A prototype of a smart home system remote control based on arduino using
android smartphone as controller has been made. This system can help the users to
control electrical devices from a distance. This system is equipped with on and off
button on the software that will be embedded in android smartphone to control four
electrical devices, so users do not need to go to the system to turn off or turn on
electrical devices.
The system is made using arduino uno as the control system, BTshield
bluetooth as a communication medium and android smartphone as a remote control.
The smartphone android transmit serial data via bluetooth to the arduino uno. Data
entered in the form of text processed by the arduino to control the relay circuit on a
prototype smart home. This system has been able controlling four electrical devices
prototype smart home.
Results of tests conducted, the system can be controlled with an android
handheld in a time and the system can be controlled by the control distance of 13
meters indoors and 15 meters in outdoors.
