Hasan Proboyen (Teknik Geologi, Fakultas Ilmu Teknologi dan Kebumian, Universitas Halu Oleo) Email: [email protected] ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian studi geologi dan alterasi hirothermal Daerah Pamandati Kecamatan Lainea Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Secara geografis lokasi penelitian terletak pada zona 51 UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) dengan posisi koordinat 453500 mT – 457500 mT dan 9515000 mS – 9518000 mS. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kondisi geologi berupa aspek geomorfologi, litologi serta struktur geologi dan menentukan tipe alterasi yang terdapat pada daerah Pamandati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas penelitian lapangan dan penelitian laboratorium. Penelitian lapangan terdiri dari observasi lapangan dan pemetaan geologi. Penelian laboratorium terdiri dari pengamatan petrografis dengan menggunakan mikroskop polarisasi. Secara geomorfologi daerah penelitian terdiri atas dua satuan geomorfik yaitu satuan geomorfik bentukan asal struktural dan satuan geomorfik bentukan asal fluvial. Litologi daerah penelitian tersusun atas enam satuan batuan yaitu satuan batupasir, satuan batupasir malih, satuan batusabak, satuan kuarsit, satuan filit dan satuan aluvium. Struktur geologi yang ditemukan pada daerah penelitian berupa sesar dan kekar. Berdasarkan mineral ubahan zona alterasi yang terdapat pada daerah penelitian dikelompokkan atas zona zona alterasi argilik dan potasik. Hasan Proboyen (Geological Engineering, Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Halu Oleo University) Email: [email protected] ABSTRACT A research on geological study and hydrothermal alteration Pamandati area of Lainea Subdistrict, South Konawe District, had been carried out. Research area geographically was located at zone 51 UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) with coordinates of located at coordinates 453500 mE – 457500 mE and 9515000 mS – 9518000 mS. This study aims to identify the geological condition which involves geomorphology, lithology, geological structure. Alteration types existing in the research area would also be determined. The method used in this study consisted of field study and laboratory analysis. The field study was classified into field observation and geological mapping. The laboratory analysis was conducted through petrographic observation by using polarization microscope. Geomorphologically the study area was classified into two units, namely geomorphic unit of structural original and fluvial original. The lithology of the study area consisted of six rock units, namely sandstones, meta-sandstone, slate, quartzite, phylite and alluvium. The geological structure identified in the study area were fault and joint structure. According to alteration mineral, the alteration zone of the reseach area was classified into argilic and potasic alteration zone.
