Bumi Resources Minerals reports significant copper and gold resource estimates
from its project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi

PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk ("BRMS" or "the Company") today
reports significant mineral resource estimates from its copper and
gold project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi. The resource estimates were
completed by the SRK Consulting (Australasia) Pty Ltd, Australia
("SRK") on 27 July and 8 August 2012, at the Cabang Kiri and Sungai
Mak sites, which are parts of the concession operated by PT Gorontalo
Minerals ("GM"). GM is currently 80% owned by BRMS and 20%
owned by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. Based on the SRK's report, the
Cabang Kiri and the Sungai Mak sites have the combined 292 million
tonnes of ore resources, with average grades of 0.5% (Copper) and
0.47 g/t (Gold).
PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk ("BRMS" atau "Perusahaan")
hari ini melaporkan estimasi sumber daya mineral yang cukup
besar dari konsesi tambang tembaga dan emasnya di Gorontalo,
Sulawesi. Estimasi sumber daya tersebut telah dilakukan oleh SRK
Consulting (Australasia) Pty Ltd, Australia ("SRK") pada 27 Juli dan
8 Agustus 2012, pada lokasi Cabang Kiri dan Sungai Mak, yang
merupakan bagian dari konsesi tambang yang dioperasikan oleh
PT Gorontalo Minerals ("GM"). GM pada saat ini dimiliki 80% oleh
BRMS dan 20% oleh PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. Berdasarkan laporan
SRK, lokasi tambang di Cabang Kiri dan Sungai Mak memiliki total
sumber daya bijih sebesar 292 juta ton, dengan rata-rata kadar
kualitas 0,5% (tembaga) dan 0.47 g/t (emas).
The SRK's resource estimate report which is based on the Joint Ore
Reserve Committee ("JORC") standard adds significant value to the
BRMS' copper and gold project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi. The resource
estimate improves the commerciality of the Company's copper and
gold concession. In addition to the Sungai Mak and Cabang Kiri sites,
there are several potential mineral resources from the other sites that
have not been explored yet within the same concession operated by
GM, such as Kayu Bulan, Tulabolo, Cabang Kanan, and other sites.
Laporan SRK mengenai estimasi sumber daya mineral yang
berdasarkan standar Joint Ore Reserve Committee ("JORC")
tersebut, diharapkan dapat menambah nilai terhadap konsesi
tambang tembaga dan emas yang dikelola oleh BRMS di
Gorontalo, Sulawesi. Estimasi sumber daya mineral tersebut telah
meningkatkan nilai komersial dari tambang tembaga dan emas
tersebut. Selain di Sungai Mak dan Cabang Kiri, masih ada
beberapa potensi sumber daya mineral di beberapa lokasi
tambang yang dioperasikan oleh GM yang masih belum
dieksplorasi lebih lanjut, seperti di Kayu Bulan, Tubalolo, Cabang
Kanan, dan lokasi lainnya.
